This project focused on the installation of wired cable stair lighting integrated directly into the riser sections of deck stair systems. Unlike solar lights, these are hardwired low-voltage lighting units, providing consistent brightness, long-term reliability, and a premium finish. Installation Areas Included: Stair riser-mounted cable lights Optional deck border lighting Clean concealed wiring Weather-protected connections The lighting system enhances: Nighttime visibility Stair safety Architectural definition Outdoor ambiance Lights are most commonly installed on stair risers to create subtle downward illumination, improving step visibility without glare. Upon client request, the same system can also be installed along deck borders to create perimeter lighting for a continuous, modern effect.

Challenge

Integrating wired lighting into stair risers required concealed cable routing and precise fixture placement to ensure uniform illumination. Achieving clean visual alignment while maintaining weather resistance demanded careful detailing.
