Luxury Composite Deck with Waterproof Under-Deck Entertainment Area

This project represents one of our premier custom outdoor builds — a fully integrated luxury composite deck system designed for both elevated living and lower-level entertainment. The upper platform features high-performance composite decking and aluminum glass railing, creating an expansive and open outdoor living space. A custom double-landing staircase provides architectural depth and smooth vertical transition, with a directional turn that enhances structural flow and visual balance. The landing area below is enclosed using composite deck skirting, creating a clean and seamless perimeter finish. Beneath the deck surface, a fully integrated waterproof drainage system protects the structure while allowing the lower level to remain completely dry and functional. The underside was finished with a professionally installed soffit ceiling system, incorporating recessed potlights and a built-in sound system. The result is a fully usable under-deck environment that functions as an outdoor entertainment lounge — comparable to an open-air party room — while the upper deck remains a spacious, bright extension of the home’s living area.
