6x6 Board-on-Board Privacy Fence for Corner Lot & Roadside Sound Buffer

This project involved the construction of a reinforced full-privacy fence installed on a corner property located along a high-traffic roadway. Built using 6x6 structural posts and 2x6 horizontal framing members, the fence was engineered for maximum durability and long-term stability. A board-on-board vertical design was implemented to eliminate direct sightlines and provide complete visual separation from the street and surrounding properties. Due to the home’s corner exposure, the exterior-facing side was fully enclosed to create a continuous privacy barrier. An access gate was integrated to maintain controlled entry without compromising structural strength. Given the proximity to a busy roadway, the solid board-on-board configuration also contributes to noticeable sound buffering, reducing street noise and improving backyard comfort. The result is a fortress-like privacy fence that enhances security, visual separation, and acoustic comfort for a highly exposed corner property.
