Custom Vertical Privacy Fence with Diamond Gate Insert

This project involved the construction of a custom full-privacy fence installed along a sloped backyard with a diagonally positioned gate for improved access and alignment with the property layout. The fence was built using a vertical staggered board (board-on-board) design to ensure complete visual privacy while maintaining structural airflow. Boards were strategically spaced and layered to block direct sightlines from neighboring properties. Each section was framed using reinforced 2x6 horizontal members, with five structural rails per panel to provide added stability and long-term durability. The fence is supported by 6x6 posts, delivering strong anchoring across the sloped terrain. Black aluminum post caps were installed to protect the posts while adding a refined architectural finish. The custom gate features a decorative diamond insert, introducing a subtle design element that enhances curb appeal while preserving privacy. The result is a structurally reinforced and visually distinctive privacy fence system tailored to a challenging grade condition.
